Our team consists of a diverse group of experts with backgrounds in economics and engineering. We believe in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration to address complex issues such as climate change. By combining our knowledge and expertise, we aim to provide holistic insights into the economic and technical aspects of climate change policies in the maritime industry.
Our main contribution is through carrying out quality research seeking to propose equitable solutions and public policies aimed at a transition towards a green economy, based on climate justice principles. We focus on the use of global statistical models, at the frontier of knowledge, combining economic, environmental and naval engineering aspects, and that consider the specificities of the countries, products, routes and ships used. We understand that it is important to assess the heterogeneity of regional effects while also ensuring the decarbonization of the maritime sector.
We actively collaborate with renowned institutions, organizations, and policymakers to amplify the reach and impact of our research. Our goal is to contribute to the international discourse on climate change policies and inspire actionable solutions in the maritime sector. By disseminating our findings through publications, conferences, and engagement with various stakeholders, we aim to drive positive change toward a greener, more sustainable future.
